MEET OUR TEAM

Dr. Hoyle graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1974 after attending Kirkwood College and the University of Iowa. He opened his first office in Cedar Rapids, IA and after 12 years in practice joined 3 other doctors in building one of the nations largest chiropractic clinics.

Dr. Hoyle was fortunate enough to have studied under Dr. Clarence Gonstead and the Gonstead methodology during his time at Palmer College of Chiropractic, the original chiropractic college started by BJ Palmer in Davenport, Iowa.  Dr. Gonstead's methodology included a highly intricate "system" for measuring a patients x-ray to pinpoint the specific location of a vertebral subluxation.  In doing so, having the ability to fix what is out of alignment while leaving the rest of the spine alone. Dr. Hoyle’s belief system is deeply rooted in the body’s ability to heal itself by removing nerve interference using very “specific” chiropractic adjustments.  Dr. Hoyle is know for having a passion for those chronic and difficult cases

After many years of practicing strictly chiropractic in Columbia, MO,  Dr. Hoyle and his wife Susan chose to add nutrition to their practice. They began attending hours of seminars throughout the midwest in,  Nutrition Response Testing, Female Hormone Balancing, Digestion, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis and Interpretation and implementing Standard Process whole food supplements. After seeing first hand how well patients who were lacking in good nutrition could respond to specific Gonstead adjustments when supplemented with whole food nutrition, they kept expanding their knowledge.  Their nutrition technique is a combination of knowledge they have obtained from 15 years working with nutrition patients.

They have seen what works and doesn't work.  Using predominately the Standard Process whole food philosophy, intuition and muscle testing, they have build a successful nutrition practice in Columbia, MO and now in Ashland, MO and the surrounding areas from Jefferson City, Holts Summit, Lake of the Ozarks, Moberly and Mexico.

Nutrition has become a passion now, Dr. Hoyle and Susan attend many seminars each year and  are constantly reading and researching.  Dr. Hoyle brings his knowledge, not just of the human body but of the response rate of good nutrition and specific chiropractic care.  Susan continues her education in the mind body connection bringing her passion in energy medicine and her intuition and compassion into their work with nutrition.   The human body DOES know exactly what to do to be healthy, we just need to remove the obstacles. It really is as simple as that!
